Saturday Six (songs, that is)

I love music; I couldn't live without it. It communicates in ways little else can. When someone tells me they're indifferent about music--and yes, that has happened--I am immediately distrustful.
Six random songs for you:
(Change the hxxp to http)
Angie Aparo - Cry [Faith Hill covered his song; she didn't write it. In my opinion, Angie's version is better. Much better.]
The Sundays - Wild Horses [This is a Rolling Stones song, but I prefer this version--by a lot. It's very pretty and soothing in a simple sort of way.]
Tracy Chapman - The Promise [I've longed for you, and I have desired to see your face, your smile--to be with you wherever you are... Haven't we all felt like that about someone?]
Kate Rusby - Who Will Sing Me Lullabies [I prefer the live version of this song, which is up on YouTube, but the disc version is still gorgeous. When I first heard this song on YouTube I cried and cried and cried some more.]
Kate Winslet - What If [Yes, that Kate Winslet. If memory serves me right, I first heard this song years ago in a Buffy/Angel mvid some lovely soul put together. While I don't remember anything about the vid, I've had a fondness for the song ever since.]
Gwyneth Paltrow & Huey Lewis - Cruisin' [Ok, maybe that sounds like the stuff of nightmares, but give it a try. It's surprisingly catchy. *g*]
*Bonus Track:
Ivy - Edge of the Ocean
I'd love to hear what you think, but if you don't feel like commenting, go ahead and download and listen anyway. :)
These are Sendspace links. If something expires, let me know, and I will do my best to re-up.
