If it helps, when she's a teenager, she'll never be awake. :)
lmao yes that is true. At least for me - I usually sleep in until 10:00/10:30 ish on weekends unless I have something else, although it also depends on when I go to bed.
Sophie slept through the night from 8 weeks old and Joe from 4 weeks old so there is hope! I know I was very lucky, but as soon as they would sleep from about 10pm to 7am without a break, life got a lot easier.
You can kiss goodbye to having a properly uninterrupted lie in for the next few years, though. Even if dh and I let each other stay in bed the kids invariably whoop up a storm and wake us up.
Fortunately all the wonderous awesome of having children outweighs this stuff. We do sometimes sit and spin fantastic dream-stories of when they are young adults and move out, however *g* They've kind of taken the place of our 'when we win the lottery' conversations!
um. from what i understand, and sorry to be the bearer of bad news, you'll never feel rested, let alone well-rested, again. *offers hugs and condolences*
