"If God appeared to you..."

"If God appeared to you in a series of vivid and moving dreams and told you to leave everything behind, travel to the Red Sea and become a fisherman, what would you do?  What if you were told to sacrifice your child?" - Taken from The Book of Questions by Gregory Stock, Ph.D.

My answers:

1)  Say "Hell no," and check to see if I'd been smoking crack in my sleep.
2)  Tell God to go to hell.

No offense intended to those who would answer differently.

So what would you do?

With the proviso that I've reached my thinky thought quota already today, off the top of my head, I'd say it depends. If God sent the hotass angel from SPN, I might consider fishing as an alternative career choice, but would definitely pass on the child sacrifice, hotass angel or no. DNW baby killing. :(

I may be down with building an ark though. Projects are fun.

I totally agree. Building an ark, I can handle. Let me know if He commands you to, I'd be glad to throw in a helping hand!

I could fold you a bunch of little origami animals. in pairs of course. that way, when the floodwaters subsided, there'd still be some dry paper.

you're rockin the castiel!love? I know a bunch of people are, but I just don't see it.

...I need to make more spn icons that don't involve food. :)

I have no suitable origami icons so you have surprise!jdm instead. Because everyone needs surprise!jdm in their lives.

Origami animals are an excellent plan. You can be on my boat. Plz to be bringing a nautical themed pashmina afghan with you too.

I'm kinda meh on Castiel - he had an awesome entrance but I need him to do something cool now. The guy who plays him is kinda legendary though - he does yoga, interned at the White House, goes on Buddhist retreats, writes poetry and built all the furniture in his house. Hence the love. :)
