Wednesday Smiles

The high temp. tomorrow is supposed to be 73 degrees.  73.  I love this time of year.  Spring itself is something to smile about.

I hope you're all having fabulous weeks, but if not, I hope you can still dig up something that makes you smile.  ♥

I mostly post fannish things in this journal, but I think it's easy to forget that there is a real person behind the fic and the Bones commentary. Same goes for other people, of course. So I'd like to take a minute to acknowledge our humanity.

If you'd like to do so, please tell me something that made you smile this week, no matter how small. Could be the snuggle your dog gave you on Monday, the song you discovered on Tuesday, or the way your significant other smiled at you today. I've been posting these since last December. If you feel up to it, please respond—here, in your own journal, or elsewhere. Feel free to post more than one thing and/or respond to other comments.

Why am I doing this? Because I think it is far too easy to get caught up in the stresses, big and small, that we all experience. Being able to focus on one positive thing, however small, can give one a valuable sense of perspective.

Why Wednesday? I figure a little mid-week cheer can't hurt. :)

The birds are singing outside happily. Seeing as how it's gotten over 100 here, I've been wearing shirts and tank tops! School just has a month and a half left, and on Friday I'm going to Disneyland!

Weather here is crazy. One day is cold, the next is warmer. You end up not knowing how to dress up. Oh, Autumm.

Anyway, my smile...let me see...first that I don't have to d anything more than reading for my phylosophy and histry class at Uni tomorrow. Second...Bones! there's always a reason to smile with it!

-Just after seeing Los Coronas in concert last Friday, I found out that they're coming here again next June.

-My bank told me a few days ago that I won tickets for the Spanish Championship of Formula 1 (which I hate and therefore will sell them) and two nights in a hotel in Barcelona next May 8-9-10. LOL So it seems I'm travelling to Barcelona then.

-I really enjoyed "The double death of the dearly departed".
