Yes, it seems totally unnatural to me, too.
And I totally agree on point 5. Same goes for shrugged too. Words are not shrug-able. :)
Yes. Actions aren't dialogue tags.
BTW, your icon is killing me. It's so cute. And knowing me, I probably did eat its cookie. *g* Was it chocolate chip?
